The 27 year old has handed in a transfer request after rumours about a bust up with manager Aitor Karanka surfaced on social media.
Sky Sports alleges that Adomah and his manager had a heated discussion soon after Middlesbrough lost their home game against Bristol City last week.
27 year old Adomah left Ashton Gate to go to the Riverside Stadium in 2013 where he has made 98 appearances and scored 18 times, now it seems that he wants his time up north to come to an end.
Karanka said: ‘Of course.’ when he was asked if he thought Adomah would still be at the club after the transfer deadline.
