City have finalised a deal to bring QPR striker Patrick Agyemang on loan.

The 29-year-old lump passed a routine medical and should be available for tomorrow’s visit of Cardiff, providing the Football League paperwork goes through in time.

With the constant upheaval at Loftus Road, the Ghanaian is thought to be glad to head West in hope of a fresh start.

Pat told bcfc.co.uk: “I was told that Bristol City wanted me and I felt it was the right time for a fresh start.

“I’ve been in the Championship for some time now with Preston and QPR, so I’m hoping to bring some experience and goals to Bristol City, as well as a winning mentality.

“I know Bristol City is a good club and we’ve played against them twice already.

“I’m hoping everything goes well and I enjoy my time here, and if that’s the case it would be great to get something permanent here.”

Agyemang has been given the number 36 shirt and goes straight into tomorrow’s squad for the latest clash with Cardiff.
