With Bristol City revealing the new 2018/19 away kits yesterday to much acclaim after all the teasing and talk of the Robin badge returning, today saw the release of the home kits for the coming campaign.
The new strip goes on pre-order sales from June 28 at 9am before moving to general sale. With the away kit featuring the Robin badge nod, the home kit utilises our current crest and will no doubt help to please those fans who have a badge preference and opinion.
With plenty of topics up for debate this summer as the new campaign approaches, fans were again typically split when the announcement was made – but it’s always going to be the case to be fair, a club can never please everyone and strips, in particular, are extremely subjective.

Did anyone else think that looks like a Middlesbrough shirt? None the less I like it.

I like it with away kit and robin best of both. Those moaning and saying like Boro it’s nothing like it 1. City badge on it not Boro 2. Dunder not their sponsor 3. It’s Bristol City Shirt not Boro! Whatever they produced always going to be those that moan! U don’t have to buy it

And in terms of news of any note, that’s about the lot that I can see. Some ongoing transfer speculation that sees us linked with Southampton’s Sam McQueen as an option if Joe Bryan does depart but there are already reports rubbishing that suggestion. So it looks like another quiet day for the club unless the social media team have other ideas and something planned to keep us all occupied.
