Bristol City boss Sean O’Driscoll has made moves and secured his first signing of the summer in the shape of Arsenal youngster Jordan Wynter.
The 19-year-old became a professional last season but was not able to force his way into the first team.
Now he has turned down a new contract with the Gunners, opting instead to join Bristol City where first team football would be easier to come by for the midfielder.
O’Driscoll told the club’s official website: ‘Jordan is a versatile player schooled at Arsenal Football Club.
‘He is comfortable in possession, strong physically and a welcome addition to the club as we try to change the dynamic of the squad.
‘He is a young player we feel we can develop, and one that has all the desire and hunger to succeed.’
