Big Game Says Millen

Bristol City boss Keith Millen is looking for his side to progress in the FA Cup this season, so the coffers can be swelled at Ashton Gate.

And it all starts with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, a game which Millen describes as the club’s ‘biggest game of the season’.

But as well as the cash a Cup run brings, Millen would like to give the fans something to shout about.

“It’s a massive game for us, I think our biggest game of the season,” Millen told the club’s official website.

“We want a Cup run and to do that we must overcome Sheffield Wednesday at Ashton Gate. For the finances of the club it can be a massive boost, but the supporters deserve an exciting cup run too.

“I’ve given the players two days’ rest because they needed it on the back of their exertions over Christmas and New Year.

“To come through four games in eight days is not easy. I few have been feeling knocks and strains, so hopefully the time off will see those ease.”
