IFK Norrkoping’s Niclas Eliasson is interesting Bristol City.

Sportsbladet has claimed City have made an offer for the Swedish U21, which has followed up an understanding from the Bristol Post a bid has been put in.

Eliasson, 21, has been involved in 24 games for Norrkoping this season scoring six goals and assisting 13 others to help his side to third in the Allsvenskan League.

An offer has gone in but ‘his club, however, have not yet accepted the bid made’ with Bristol City ‘still in negotiations with Norrkoping,’ reports the Post.

Gustav Engvall, who is now back after a loan, was signed from another Swedish side, Gothenburg, last summer.

The winger made his debut for Sweden at U21 level in June.
