Bristol City Academy graduate Zak Vyner has headed out to Rotherham United fresh from signing a new three-year deal at Ashton Gate.

The 21-year-old goes out for the third time to gain experience and help his development but this time he steps up to Championship level following spells with Accrington Stanley, and most recently, Plymouth Argyle.

It’s should be a good spell for him in reality at the New York Stadium and he should get a good run of games under his belt you would think. The loan deal is for the entire 2018/19 season but Bristol City do have a recall clause in place for the January window should we need him back or we decide the spell isn’t going as we hoped for the youngster.

As per the terms of the loan deal, he is also not eligible to play against us when we visit them on October 3rd or when we host the return leg on December 29th.
