Bristol City have announced that Louis Carey’s knee injury is not as serious as it could have been after results came back from a scan.
The 36 year old had a coming together with Marcus Olsson at Ewood Park on Saturday, which resulted in the veteran being taken off with a knee injury.
At first it was feared that there may have been a fracture but scans have shown that bones are still intact.
There is an outside chance of the player being okay for this weekend’s game with Nottingham Forest.
