City Close To Icelander Deal

Bristol City look set to complete the signing of Juventus defender Hordur Magnusson very soon, according to reports.

The Bristol Post say that a deal is close and the 23-year-old Icelander left back will soon be wearing the City shirt in front of the press.

Magnusson was taken to Euro 2016 by Iceland but he did not get a chance to play in the competition, he does, though, by all accounts have vast experience to back him up.

He has spent the last 2 seasons on loan at Seria A side Cesena and he impressed even though they were relegated last term.

He is a specialist with a dead ball and is expected to cost City £2.5 million.
