City was convincingly beaten by Queens Park Rangers 3-0. Rangers included six January transfer window signings in their side and looked the better side through out the 90 minutes.

Two goals by Patrick Agyemang in the first half gave QPR a deserved lead at half time. City were looking very static all over the pitch.

Queens Park added a third in the 62nd minute through Buzsaky. City’s only real chance fell to Adebola who fired against the far post and, when the ball came back to him, he saw his effort hit Lee Camp and bounce away to safety.

Bristol City boss Gary Johnson:
‘It was a very poor performance. We started off poorly and got progressively worse. We were second best and that is why we got beaten so comprehensively.
‘The boys tried hard but our quality was poor and we got what we deserved.
‘There were not a lot of positives from the day but we must try to forget about it and move on. We have recovered from setbacks before and we will again. We mustn’t dwell on it for too long, we have a big game against Southampton next week.’
