City Full Back In Scotland Squad

Bristol City full-back Richard Foster has been called up to the Scotland squad as a replacement for Charlie Mulgrew.

The former Aberdeen and Rangers player brings versatility to a Scotland squad decimated by injuries to defenders. The 27-year-old is comfortable in both full-back positions.

Defender Mulgrew had to pull out after his Achilles injury that he picked up in Celtic’s game with Hibs on Saturday is still causing him problems.

Foster has still to pick up his first cap, but could be given the go ahead by manager Craig Levein.
