Bristol City boss Sean O’Driscoll must wait to see how long Paul Anderson is out of the side for after he picked up an injury at Wolves on Saturday.

Anderson had just returned from having a stomach bug that kept him out of the side, but he only lasted 15 minutes of the game at Molinuex after being clattered by Wolves defender Jack Robinson.

After the incident, the Robins man was on the deck receiving treatment for some time, but O’Driscoll is still hoping the damage is not too bad.

He said to the Bristol Post: ‘He is not on crutches, which is good, but he cannot put weight through his knee at the minute.

‘It is a bang rather than a twist, but we will have to wait and see. We will get him x-rayed and hope there is no crack in there.

‘I’m disappointed for Paul. For him to come back into the team and for us to then lose him early doors was not great.’
