City Land Juventus Defender

Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has added another player to his captures after Icelandic defender Hordur Magnusson joined the club on a three-year deal.

The 23-year-old becomes the fourth player through the door at Ashton Gate, following Lee Tomlin, Gary O’Neil, and Josh Brownhill through the entrance.

The fee for the former Juventus man, however, remains undisclosed.

Magnusson has been at Juve since his academy days and recently spent two years on loan at Cesena.

Johnson told the Robins’ official website: ‘He’s very mobile, quick and smooth on the ball. He’s 6ft 3in and has a great left foot.

‘At the age of 23 has plenty of time to mature as a player.’
