Derby County striker Robert Earnshaw has been linked with a move to Ashton Gate after admitting that his future with The Rams is far from certain.

The Welsh international moved to Pride Park last summer for a club record fee of £3.5 million, but has since struggled to hold down a regular place in Paul Jewell’s starting line-up.

And speaking to the Derby Evening Telegraph, Earnshaw hinted that he might be interested in a move elsewhere:

‘A lot of it is speculation, I’m sure,’ he said. ‘I don’t really know what’s going to happen in the summer. We’ll have a look at it.

‘The whole club is going to have a lot of people coming and going in the summer so I don’t know.

‘But there are four games to go and a month left of the season, so you’ve got to see what happens.’

Formerly with Norwich, Earnshaw made his name at Cardiff where he scored 85 goals in 178 appearances during a seven-year spell.

Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace and Charlton are also believed to be interested in snapping up the 27 year-old.
