Bristol City completed the signing of Republic of Ireland international Callum O’Dowda this week.
The winger has arrived from Oxford United on a three-year deal after recently winning his first cap for the Republic just before the Euro 2016 competition.
The 23-year-old did not make the side for the Euro’s but he was invited to train with the rest of the squad.
The new signing told the club’s official website: “There`s no doubt in my mind that this is the club I want to be at.
“I want to be playing in the Championship and to help the team to achieve promotion; that`s certainly the ambition set out from the gaffer and the chairman.”
Bristol City boss Lee Johnson described O’Dowa as “A real emerging talent. He`s very mobile, comfortable on the ball and hungry to improve.’
