Bristol City are getting set to go in with an improved offer for midfielder Liam Kelly from Kilmarnock.

According to reports in the Bristol Post, City have already tabled one bid for the 22 year old but that was turned down flat by the club’s chairman Michael Johnson.

Now City have come up with a better deal, one that beats the first offer of £150,000, but the Scottish club value his services at £500,000.

Of course, for City to do business with them they would have to come down from that price. The player is out of contract at the end of the season.
