Bristol City went down again, this time it was thanks to a Ross McCormack late goal and also a penalty miss by Nicky Maynard.

Striker McCormack swept the ball home from close range at the far post in the 86th minute as Leeds registered back-to-back home wins.

There were no changes to the City side that lost to Brighton last time out and it wasn`t long before they were behind again when Snodgrass got down to the by-line and cut the ball back for Clayton who smashed the ball home from 12 yards.

But City were in no mood to just lie down and be walked over and Kilkenny curled a shot from 25 yards into the top corner of the Leeds net giving the keeper no chance.

As the half time whistle got closer Adomah fired in a shot that tested Lonergan and then Campbell-Ryce fired inches over after cutting inside from the right.

McCormack and Snodgrass both had chances early in the second half but could not keep their efforts down.

Then Maynard was blatantly hauled down by Kisnorbo in the penalty area, the latter seeing a red card for his efforts.

Maynard took the spot kick, but Lonergan guessed right and saved low to his left.

City then turned up the pressure but could not manage to penetrate the Leeds defence and they were forced to pay for that with just four minutes left when Becchio headed the ball on in the area and McCormack pounced to win the game for the home side.
