Clean Sheet Is The Order Of The Day

Bristol City striker Steven Davies insists that what the team need the most on Saturday in their game against Hull City is a clean sheet.

Sky cameras will be there looking for a game similar to the 4-3 defeat at home to Burnley in the week, but Davies would swap all that for a 1-0 win.

26 goals in 12 games City have shipped in and they have not shown signs of a clean sheet all season

Now, for a second season running, it looks like the lads will be battling to stave of relegation unless things improve drastically.

Davies told the Bristol Post: ‘If you asked any of us, we would all say the perfect scenario on Saturday would be a 1-0 win.

‘Our priority has to be to keep a clean sheet and that is what we will be focusing on.

‘You look at the strikers we have and the lads in midfield and you know we are going to score goals.

‘We know we will cause teams problems, but the main thing is to keep a clean sheet. If we get that, then I’m sure we’ll pick up all three points.
