Nothing like a derby game with a clown who loves showing cards taking charge.

Nothing like a derby game with a clown who loves showing cards taking charge.

That’s what’s happening tonight when City travel to Cardiff for another fiery encounter, Craig Pawson will no doubt be doing his bet to stir things up.

Pawson has mainly hung around the Premier League so far this season like a bad smell, but last term he took charge of City’s away game at MK Dons on the 7th February, a game which was drawn 0-0.

Four yellow cards were shown that day, two for the Dons and our very own Luke Ayling and Joe Bryan. Last season Pawson was in charge of 29 games but still managed to show 100 yellow cards and 10 red.

This season Pawson has taken charge of 10 games but still managed 37 yellow cards. No red cards as yet, maybe he has lost them?

Pawson’s assistants for the evening are Constantine Hatzidakis and Simon Bennett, while the fourth official is Kevin Johnson.
