There have been a raft of social media announcements from Bristol City so far this summer.
The main ones of note have centred around the issue of changing the badge on the shirts and then released of the new kits for the coming 2018/19 campaign. The tweet tact taken by the club this last month has delighted some fans, infuriated others and left some thoroughly confused.
đź‘€ What would you like to see this morning? #AnnounceTheKit

I think it might be fair to say that the ‘oh God not another one’ brigade have won on the balance of the responses that I’ve read so far, but whether today’s latest offering will tip the balance firmly in their favour or not, we’ll have to wait and see. I’m tending to think it will.
One thing is for sure, the approach has been unique and novel and if interaction was the aim, it’s certainly succeeded on that front.
So, to today’s offering and reactions haven’t been quite as mixed as they have been, especially factoring in specific problems for some people.
📱 #BristolCity will unveil their 2018/19 strip via a brand new club mobile app tomorrow morning!
