A torn calf muscle will keep Bristol City defender Liam Fontaine out of the side for several games.
The 26-year-old had to be taken off during the 4-3 defeat at home to Burnley in midweek, he has since undergone scans which have revealed a slight tear.
Manager Derek McInnes told the club’s official website: ‘It’s disappointing and we’re going to be without Liam not just for Saturday’s game, but for a few matches.’
