Fontaine to Southampton – Deal Off!

Liam Fontaine’s proposed move to Southampton is now a dead deal according to reports.

The Southern Daily Echo says that the 25 year old was all set to join with a fee agreed and personal terms being sorted out, but the deal fell through when the
player failed a medical.

The defender has twice had surgery on an ankle and has been out of action since the opening day of the season.
