Former City player Aaron Brown has joined Paulton Rovers of the Evostick League as player coach.

Brown was with his first club City as a trainee and signed his first professional contract in 1998.

It was a while before he was able to make any impact on the first team although he did have a loan spell at Exeter before going on to make 160 league appearances for the Robins.

After being involved in a car crash and picking up a ear injury, Brown decided he should move on and left the club for Queens Park Rangers under a cloud.

Since then he has had spells at Swindon, Gillingham, Lincoln, Wrexham, Darlington, Bath. Hungerford Town and Weston-Super-Mare where he made 23 appearances last season.
