Brentford have reported that the game tonight against Bristol City at Griffin Park should go ahead unless there is very heavy rain between now and the kick off.

There has been a lot of rain in the West London area over the past couple of days and the Griffin Park pitch is described as ‘very wet’ and cannot take much more rain.

There has been work going on to remove surface water from the pitch by the Brentford ground staff and at the moment there are no plans to hold a pitch inspection prior to kick off.
