The Great Bristol Fans Derby
Great Bristol Fans Derby which will be staged at Ashton Gate Stadium on Thursday 20th April 2006 kick off 7pm FREE ENTRY.

The BFD is an annual event, now in it’s 4th year, where fans of Bristol City and Bristol Rovers play a football match to raise money for sick and underprivileged children in the Bristol area and to build bridges between the two clubs. The event is wholeheartedly supported by both Bristol City and Bristol Rovers football clubs.

This years designated charity is Children’s Hospice South West.
The money raised will go towards building a children’s hospice near Bristol at Charlton Farm, Wraxall.
The hospice is currently under construction and CHSW are hoping that enough funds are raised in 2006 to enable it to open Charlton Farm’s doors in the spring of 2007. More CHSW information: www.chsw.co.uk

The players involved are selected from regular contributers to the clubs’ internet forums, www.brfcforum.co.uk and www.otib.co.uk
Each player raises money from personal sponsorship but we are appealing for local businesses and corporate sponsors to come forward as match sponsors, match ball sponsors or businesses who will exchange some cash for match programme adverts or plugs on the BFD website, www.bristolfansderby.co.uk
We are also appealing for gifts and promises that will be raffled or auctioned to raise money.

Please help, this is a very worthy cause and every penny raised will go directly towards helping terminally ill children and their families in the Bristol area.

Further details of the event can be found on the BFD website www.bristolfansderby.co.uk or email advertising@bristolfansderby.co.uk for donations and advertising.
