Injury ends Caulker’s season

City loanee Steven Caulker has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

The 19-year-old Spurs youngster has now returned to his parent club and will undergo surgery in the next few days.

Caulker has been in outstanding form for the Robins this season, earning rave reviews for his performances in a pourus defence.

His injury was discovered before he hooked up with the England Under-21s last week, but Keith Millen is gutted about losing the young centre-back.

“It’s terrible news for the lad and everyone at the club feels for him,” the City boss told www.bcfc.co.uk.

“He’s now heading back to London to undergo surgery as his season is over with us.

“I’d like to thank him for his contribution this season, and to Tottenham for allowing him to come to us.”
