The Times Online are reporting that ‘The members of MyFootballClub, who own Ebbsfleet United, have 48 hours to decide whether to accept a £140,000 offer from an unnamed Football League club for John Akinde.’

And last night Bristol City officially named themselves as the unnamed club.

The 19 year old striker has scored two goals already this season and has scored twelve times in twenty-four starts for the team that was infamously bought by football fans for football fans.

John Akinde should be a City player tomorrow night. The transfer deadline day has been extended to midnight on 1st September because the 31st August fell on a Sunday.
