City boss Gary Johnson has urged City fans to get behind the team as the bid for promotion to the Premiership.

The City manager wants to see sell out crowds at Ashton Gate in their remaining seven home games.

‘We should give credit to the ones that come every week,’ he told the club’s official website.

‘We can moan all we like about those that don’t come, but we should never forget those who are here week in, week out for us.

‘All I will say is, with seven home games to go, it would be unbelievable if we could get full houses. Surely the prize is being a part of what we are trying to achieve.

‘The prize is the Premier League and I’m sure there would be full houses each week if we did get there. It would be nice for people who are wondering whether to come along to give it these seven home games and just be a part of any success.’

City’s are at home top Crystal Palace on Monday night, a game that is live on Sky TV.
