Manager Lee Johnson has confirmed he will be without four players for the weekend’s trip to Ipswich Town.

The latest Championship action sees us head to Portman Road and players are missing both with injury and suspension.

Speaking to the Official Site as he met with the media this week to preview the game, Johnson confirmed that Eros Pisano, Milan Djuric and Gary O’Neill remained missing through injury, with Marlon Pack joining them on the sidelines as he serves an automatic suspension for picking up five yellow cards so far this year.

‘Milan is back with us now with his new haircut, looking about five years younger! He’s still a big player for us so we need to make sure he is fully right before we reintroduce him. He’s out on the grass now working on his movement and I’d say it’ll be two weeks before he’ll be able to compete. I’d like to get him some Under-23 football or maybe an in-house game before we put him back with the first team group.’

Johnson went on to say.

‘Eros is a funny one. He’s had a series of injections and we’ve probably been chasing it a little bit to try and get him back. He’s not feeling quite right and he’s a tough lad, so he would want to get out there. We just have to let that one take its course.’

Adding.

‘As for Gary, he’s had another setback. He came back into training last week and had to pull out again because he was still feeling pain in the knee. It’s back to the drawing board on that one.’
