According to the Media in Scotland, former Dundee goalkeeper Kyle Letheren has been approached by Bristol City and offered a deal with the club.

But things are not that simple as the Welsh stopper is in search of regular first team football so that he can hopefully catch the eye of Wales manager Chris Coleman, this would prove difficult at Ashton Gate as it is thought that he would be brought in as understudy to current number one, Frank Fielding.

Letheren left Dundee last the end of the season and is hoping to get a move south of the border where he can try to make an impact.

Apart from City who look likely to be turned down, the only clubs to show any interest so far are Barnsley, Gillingham and Oxford United.
