Leicester City moved to the top of the nPower Championship for a short time after beating Bristol City 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

The Foxes showed their intentions early on when Lloyd Dyer raced through the defence, but Tom Heaton was on hand to keep the score level.

It wasn’t long before they took the lead however, David Nugent ran on to a ball through the middle before beating Heaton to make it 1-0 in the 20th minute.

The second goal of the game put Bristol City out of sight when Richard Foster bundled the ball into his own net from Andy King’s cross with just 15 minutes of the game left.
