Bristol City midfielder Marlon Pack will now serve a two game suspension having collected his tenth yellow card of the season in the weekend’s match against Leeds United.

Heading to Elland Road for the latest Championship action, Bristol City found themselves two goals ahead following efforts from Famara Diedhiou and Bobby Reid, but as has become typical in recent matches, we surrendered that lead in the final 20 minutes of the game as our hosts earned a point from the affair.

Pack did pick up a yellow card in the game though, and that yellow card triggers an automatic and immediate two game ban. he will now miss Wednesday’s clash with with Fulham and the Sevenside against Cardiff City next weekend.

Speaking to the Official Site as he met with the media post game, head coach Lee Johnson confirmed the news and explained.

‘It`s disappointing but it`s part and parcel of the game nowadays. Marlon`s been on nine bookings for a while now. We have other players who can come in and it`s an opportunity for someone.’

With Josh Brownhill limping off after taking a ‘whack to the calf’ Johnson remained hopeful that the player would shake the problem off ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Fulham.
