Another away game without a goal for Bristol City, but this time they managed to return home with a valuable point.

And it keeps City out of the relegation zone although a couple of wins would make life a whole lot easier to live.

The draw made manager Derek McInnes happy although anyone would have to admit that City rode their luck on several occasions, indeed it was poor finishing from the home side that kept the visitors in the game.

The City boss said: ‘I am happy with a point and the draw in the end and I was delighted with some of our defending. It was excellent.

‘I thought we battled very hard and threw our bodies in front of everything. We worked extremely hard and it’s another point towards avoiding relegation.”
