Jennison Myrie-Williams will stay on to Tranmere Rovers for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old scored the winning goal for the League One side from the penalty spot to Tranmere a 2-1, it was due to be Jennison’s last game. But Myrie-Williams will now stay at Tranmere for the rest of the season.

Johnson told the club’s official website: ‘Jennison is developing very well at Tranmere and it would be criminal to bring him back now.

‘We will be letting him stay with Tranmere until the end of the season and it is a great move for him at the age of 19.

‘He will get plenty of games under his belt and gain heaps of experience.’
