New Physio For City.

Bristol City have taken on Michael McBride as the club’s new physio after luring him away from Coventry City.

McBride, physio for the Scottish national team, has been with the Sky Blues for nine years and will replace Nick Dawes.

The 38 year old moves into his new job at the end of June.

He told Coventry`s official website: ‘I was fortunate because Bristol approached Coventry for my services, which is always nice to hear, but it was important for me to stay at Championship level because there is an international break in the Championship and there isn’t in League One, so that was a big factor for me.

‘I was in America with Scotland in the summer for my 80th international game and I really enjoy doing that as well as my club stuff, so working in the Championship was what I wanted to continue doing.’
