Manager Lee Johnson has said he was content to see Bristol City take a point from Norwich City this weekend.

Heading to Carrow Road for the recent Championship action on Saturday, a hard fought draw was played out between the two sides, and speaking to the Official Site as he met with the media following the game, Johnson admitted he was pretty pleased to take something from the game as he had to acknowledge our performance wasn’t as good as it could’ve been.

With eight points taken from September, our unbeaten run stretches to nine games now.

‘Defences were on top really and I think it was a hard-fought point. We`re a little frustrated because you get greedy on the back of a good run. However, we have to respect that it`s a decent opposition that we`re playing, with some big names.’

Johnson went on to say.

‘We weren`t at our best today with some of our attacking play, but I thought we were strong and resolute, reducing them to just one shot on target. We had two or three good opportunities ourselves, so leaving here I`m so-so about the result. I`m pleased for the players because I thought their desire and work-rate was good. I just thought our quality matched up to how we`ve been playing. It shows our resilience again and I think it`s a really good point.’

With Cauley Woodrow missing the trip through injury, Eros Pisano and Gary O’Neil both remain on the sidelines with knee problems, and Johnson went on to say.

‘It`s actually an injury in Cauley`s thigh and we didn`t feel like we wanted to risk him today with all the players we`ve got in that position. With Eros we don`t really know when he`ll be back at the moment. We tried to get him out on the pitches on Friday but he`s still feeling it and maybe we scanned him a little too early the first time around. It`s one of those where Eros might just need an injection to settle it down.’
