City boss Sean O’Driscoll is not basing this weekend’s game with Nottingham Forest as one where he gets revenge on the Midlanders.

O’Driscoll was given his marching orders from the City Ground soon after his side hammered Leeds United, but is now happy in his job as manager at Ashton Gate.

While at Forest, another manager left early this week when Alex McLeish, the man who took over from O’Driscoll left the club by mutual consent.

But far from having revenge on his mind, the Robin’s boss is solely concentrating on what City do and won’t be worrying too much about Forest and their new manager Billy Davies.

O’Driscoll told the Bristol Evening Post: ‘It is just another game and it has to be that way given the position we are in.

‘I cannot get emotionally involved in what has gone on at Nottingham Forest in the past.

‘If I’m honest, I have enough problems getting my own team ready for Saturday. How can I be more worried about Forest than I am my team?’
