Former Bristol City boss Sean O’Driscoll could find himself back behind a manager’s desk as he is the favourite to land the job at Shrewsbury Town.

The managerless Shrews are being led at the moment by caretaker manager Mike Jackson and he will be in charge for the next three games.

Jackson is keen to land the job himself after taking charge of a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Swindon and a very creditable 1-1 draw with Brentford.

But the Shrews are looking for someone who can steer them away from the relegation zone and punters making bets see O’Driscoll as that man, speculation has been raised even more by the fact that he has moved back to the West Midlands recently.
