The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Bristol City and Reading this Boxing Day.

Bristol City host Reading on Tuesday December 26 for the game at Ashton Gate and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Oliver Langford
Assistant Refs: Andrew Fox and Mark Pottage
Fourth Official: Dean Whitestone

Match Day referee Langford has officiated 22 games in 2017/18, showing 71 yellow cards and three red cards so far.

He took in 44 games in 2016/17 with a return of 129 yellows and five red cards.

His highest card count that year was nine yellows in the game between Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers.

He took in 41 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 99 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Burton Albion and Millwall on December 1 with a total of seven yellows being shown, along with one red.

Langford is a very experienced match official, with nine seasons as an EFL referee under his belt. As part of the PGMO development programme, he has officiated in the Dallas Cup and Algarve Cup. He has now refereed nearly 200 EFL matches.
