City’s long-serving right-back Bradley Orr looks set to decide on whether or not he wants to continue his career with us or move along the M4 to join QPR over the weekend.

Rangers and City officials having been discussing a fee for the 27-year-old scouser with Hoops boss Neil Warnock plotting a £500,000 raid.

Both Orr and City gaffer Steve Coppell are thought to want the situation sorted one way or the other before the squad embarks on a week-long pre-season tour to Sweden on Monday.

City offered Orr the chance to sign a new deal at the end of last season but Orr has been keeping his options open over the summer.

With talented youngster Christian Ribeiro a ready-made replacement, the time could now be right to cash in on Orr who has a year left on his current deal.
