City defender Bradley Orr firmly believes himself and his team mates can go all the way to the top and win promotion to the Premiership.

Orr scored City’s second goal on Saturday in their 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday and moved just one point off first placed West Brom and Orr thinks City can go all the way.

Orr told Bristol City World: ‘It’s close at the top because they are a lot of good teams in the division.

‘I still say it’ll go right down to the end, but as long as we’re still involved in that come May 4th then I’ll be happy. I think everyone can just give it a big push now for the final 15 games because they will fly by.

‘There’s a strong belief in the dressing room and rest assured we’ll all be giving it our best.

‘Me personally, I’ve got a great belief. I go with (Adriano) Basso every week (to church) and I believe in God.

‘It’s not through luck in my opinion. If your faith is strong enough, you will get rewards in everything that you do.

‘I think the gaffer’s comments about candles was a bid to get that extra one per cent winning edge. I pray for the lads and the manager every day.

‘There’s no doubt in my mind that we can do anything but succeed.’

Next up for City is a trip to struggling Scunthorpe United on Tuesday.
