Bristol City have completed the permanent signing of defender Karleigh Osborne.

The 25-year-old joins the club on a two and a half year long contract after impressing boss Steve Cotterill who inherited the player from Sean O’Driscoll who signed him on loan from Millwall.

And the player himself was only too pleased to sign the deal which means he will now be playing regular first team football again.

“It was an easy choice to make in the end,” said Osborne to the Bristol Post.

“But the main reason for me wanting the move was to play games regularly. I had not had that over the past 18 months at Millwall and I appreciated Bristol City giving me that chance.’
