One of the players that helped Bristol City avoid the drop last season is having a trial with Hull City at the age of 35.

Peter Odemwingie came to Ashton Gate last season on a loan from Premier League outfit Stoke City, but after the season had ended he went back to the Potters with Lee Johnson having no interest in trying to sign the player on a permanent basis.

Peter was released by the Potteries high-flyers at the end of the season and at the age of 35 there was some wonder as to where he would end up next, if anywhere.

But the forward has trained with Hull and takes to the field when the Tigers take on Mansfield Town in a pre-season friendly

The former Potters favourite scored twice for the Robins in seven appearances.
