Q&A with a Canary

It seems like months since the last City game, a drubbing at Brammal Lane, but tomorrow the Canaries are in town and we have been getting thoughts on the game from Michael Dilley, who is a furry yellow bird.

Q: Where do you see Bristol City and Norwich City finishing this season?

A: I think we`ll both finish around mid-table. After last season that will be seen as a decent result for us, and I would be very surprised if the Robins reproduce their form of last year.

Q: What Norwich player has impressed you so far this season?

A: It`s hard to say really. Our most consistent player has probably been David Marshall in goal.

Q: What do you make of Bristol City `s start to the season?

A: Fairly average I have to say, but probably to be expected after the ups and downs of last season – which must have been a great time to be a Bristol City fan.

Q: What are your thoughts on Gary Johnson?

A: I`ve got a lot of time for Gary Johnson actually. He always comes across as a genuinely nice guy and his teams usually play good football.

Q: Use five words to describe Bristol City ?

A: A bloody long way away.

Q: Which Bristol City player do you think will cause you most problems on Saturday and why?

A: The way we`re playing at the moment it could be any of them!

Q: What Norwich player(s) should we watch out for on Saturday?

A: Who knows? Leroy Lita should be well up for it, so I`ll go for him. Jamie Cureton is always well up for a return to Bristol as well, but I`m not convinced he`ll actually get on the pitch.

Q: Is there one thing you would change about Norwich City ?

A: I think as a club we are far too nice sometimes. It`s all well and good being squeaky clean and inoffensive, but sometimes you need to bite back.

Q: Score prediction for Saturday?

A: 1-1.
