We spoke to Charlton Addickt to see what his thoughts were ahead of tomorrow nights game, it is hoped that he will know more about Bristol City FC by Wednesday morning…

Q: Where do you see Bristol City and Charlton finishing this season?

A: Bristol City had a great chance of making the Premier League last season, unfortunately (from your point of view) you missed out. This season I can see another top half finish, but outside the play-offs.

I’d hope that we make the play-offs that would be our minimum aim. If the investment comes in, as it should, then expectations might rise!

Q: What Bristol player has impressed you so far this season?

A: I must be honest I haven’t seen much of you, so I couldn’t really comment. Sorry!

Q: What do you make of Charlton’s start to the season?

A: It doesn’t surprise me really; consistency has been our main problem for too long. I’d rather be doing well at the end of the season when it really counts, just so long as we remain in touch in the early stages! And we are just about, but only just.

Q: What are your thoughts on Alan Pardew?

A: I’ve always backed Pardew, but his constant whinging about the same things and making threats to change them, but not doing this has annoyed me recently. His “excuses” have become predictable. I still think he’s the right man for us though, although feel his time is running out.

Q: Use five words to describe Charlton?

A: A team inconsistent beyond belief! (That was five to make a sentence!)

Q: Which Charlton player do you think will cause us most problems on Tuesday and why?

A: Nicky Bailey, he’s shown so much class since we signed him from Southend and shows just why he was so highly rated by them.

Q: Score prediction for Tuesday?

A: It would have to be a home win!
