Bristol City are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected following the clash with Sheffield Wednesday.

The performance by Bobby Reid in the four nil victory over Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend at Ashton Gate was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we’ll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Reid was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice – the FL blurb read.

‘Completing our round of hat-tricks, we next head to Ashton Gate and, more specifically to Reid, whose three goals saw the Robins comprehensively see off the Owls.’

It’s always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Reid for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the points.

Full Team:

Jason Steele (Sunderland), Kean Bryan (Oldham Athletic), Mark Ellis (Carlisle United), Brad Halliday (Cambridge United), Joe Lolley (Nottingham Forest), Stefan Johansen (Fulham), Luke Russe (Bristol Rovers), Erhun Oztumer (Walsall), Patrick Bamford (Middlesbrough), Bobby Reid (Bristol City), Sean Maguire (Preston North End).

Manager – Ritchie Wellens (Oldham Athletic).
