Bristol City have made a move in the loan market by bringing in Leicester midfielder Neil Danns, he joins the club for one month.

The 29 year old has not had much time on the pitch this season with the Foxes; he has played for less than half an hour in the Championship and had a couple of Capital One appearances.

Now the player has made a request for some first team football and Leicester have agreed to get him back into the grove again by going out on loan, much to the delight of City manager Derek McInnes.

He told the clubs official website: ‘I’m very pleased to be able to bring Neil to the club. He’s hungry and determined to do well.

‘He’s a tenacious midfielder who brings experience and quality to our squad. Neil is desperate to play games for us, he brings another level of quality to our squad he can’t wait to get going.’

Danns has been with Leicester since last summer when he joined from Crystal Palace who paid Birmingham City £600,000 for his services in 2008.
