Robins Record Fine Win Over Burnley

Burnley’s play-off ambitions suffered a blow as they crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Ashton Gate against a resurgent Bristol City.

Clarets boss Eddie Howe was left cursing his former striker Brett Pitman, who he worked together at Bournemouth.

His opener just before half-time was followed by Nicky Maynard’s 70th-minute strike to seal a Robins win.
