The 18-year-old former SGS College student actually made his senior bow for Bristol City in the game against Sheffield United at the close of the 2017/18 campaign and he has recently put pen to paper on a new two-year deal with us.
It will be Semenyo’s second loan spell away from the club, as last season he spent time with Bath City, scoring three goals in as many matches for the side as he continued his development as a player.
He follows quickly on the heels of George Dowling who departed the club on his own loan spell yesterday, so hopefully this will be a very productive time for both of them as they continue forging a path for their careers.
We do hold a break clause on Semenyo’s loan which can be enacted in the January transfer window if we wish.
Fans have welcomed the move as they gave their reactions to the news.
Thats a great move
