Sexstone denies Worley interest

Bristol City have denied reports linking them with a move for Oxford United centre-back Harry Worley.

According to skysports.com, City were tracking the ex-Chelsea defender as boss Keith Millen looks to bolster his backline.

But Robins chairman Colin Sexstone has moved to dismiss any reports as rumour mongering.

Sexstone told the Bristol Evening Post: “He [Worley] is not on any list of targets I have seen and I have not heard his name mentioned by anyone within the club.”

Worley was voted as Oxford’s Player of the Season last term and is expected to leave the Kassam Stadium this summer.
